Advisement

History and History-Social Sciences Education students at ISU have access to an advisement staff of three well-versed in professional issues as well as degree requirements. This staff does an excellent job of giving each student the time and attention they need. While there is nearly always an advisor available, it is to your advantage to make an appointment to meet with your advisor. You can do this via e-mail or the telephone.

Majors should see their academic advisor at least once each semester. Although the student is ultimately responsible for seeing that all academic requirements are met, the guidance of an advisor can greatly reduce the possibility of errors.
